keeping the dog off the couch

You can also carefully put the traps upside down so they snap and leap up in the air. No damage, but a great startle tool! Works best for timider dogs and cats though.

I know most of the pets owned by COTH’ers are spoiled rotten…it would be interesting to know how many are allowed on the furniture and how many sleep with their owners. I’m sure I would be aghasted…

We used to have the daschie sleep in our bed, right under and at the foot of the bed. Then one day I realized how grubby the sheets were and he got banned. He was not very happy with that new arrangement. He was not really allowed on the sofa, either, but every single night he lay on my lap while we watched tv. I do miss that little man. So do our customers - he was our Wal-Mart greeter.

Be aghasted to know that I sleep with up to five chihuahuas, depending on the time of year, and they are all over/under/inside my bed and furniture. However, my greyhound and the rescue bigs are NOT allowed on furniture. I am not doggy PC or equal-opportunity.Big dogs tend to make cushions sag and springs loosen. I dont blame you Munching - and a dog gate might be the trick!

Dog sleeps on the porch. Gets to watch the news…then off to work barking at whatever it is dogs bark at.
