Have any of you ridden the Kings Mtn. State Park equestrian trails in SC? Several yrs. ago I heard that they had fallen into disrepair. Just wondering if it’s worth the trip?
I have ridden the KM trails for a couple of years on NATRC rides. They do have gravel on them in some places - my guy hates gravel - but I didn’t find their general condition to be bad at all. There is an active group called Friends of Kings Mountain that takes the lead on trails, parking areas, etc. In fact I think they had just received some kind of grant to do some expansion. I’d see if I could find a website or FB page for them and possibly a contact name/number to get current info.
