Well, after I posted my update, I did speak with my vet about the lack of progress in the two weeks since we last spoke. She says that now (going on one month) it would be worth assessing via ultrasound to define exactly what’s in there, and then lancing it to allow the fluid to drain.
She thinks that since it’s been four weeks, it will be less likely to refill. And lancing it should reduce any blemish formation. I’m preparing myself for the worst (a refill, maybe an infection), so if it heals without issue, I’ll be totally relieved. Prep for the worst and hope for the best? 
I’ll try to get a video of the draining, but I’m hoping it’s nothing like drmgncolors.
