Laying Hens and Eggs

@Mosey_2003 and @NancyM, I am so sorry about your luck.

My girls desperately need to get outdoors full time but the weather has not been cooperating! I have a 10’x 20’ chain link run for them, but I’m trying to finish putting hardware cloth over the top and around the bottom edges. My farm may as well be called “Fox and Hawk Haven” because I am not even exaggerating when I see a hawk every time I step outdoors and foxes at least once a day.

I’m really enjoying my prairie bluebell eggers so far, much more than my buff orpingtons. They are SO smart, brave, and sensible.

Also still thinking there’s a good chance one of my buff orpingtons may be a rooster.
