Yeah no. 25 years, 365 days, twice a day. Lets subtract a few for vacations. So, 18,000 checks were fine. It was not the food or the idea I would take the food. This horse had no aggression or anxiety about food, since he had pasture 24 hours a day and was eating only for added calories/vitamins.
It was kicking the bucket which made the noise which caused the startle and the kick. Same as any other thing can startle a horse.
