Ooohh can I join?! Just started eventing at Elementary this year with my rockstar pony… he is probably the next Teddy O’Connor but I am quite happy shooting for “Novice Someday”. I am ok jumping bigger fences in the arena, but when they don’t come down… Lord help me. Down banks and downhill jumps require a serious JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL moment.
I would love to be a Weenie Eventer…even a Weenie Eventer Wannabe…I haven’t jumped in years (and wasn’t particularly gifted at it when I did), but, for some reason I’ve decided that I’m going to do an elementary starter trial with my new TB but the time I’m 50. I’ve got 5 years. Maybe I’ll be ready…

you have to jump the jumps and actually stay on your pony - all at the same time! While sober! Anyway, I have jumped in the past (HUGE jumps! BN jumps!) and I aspire to start over x-rails again. soon. after I finish my drink……
Last I checked, blowing into a breathalyzer was not required…

I do believe that some sort of mango margarita would be the perfect new scent for Higher Standards. Maybe with a complimentary bottle of tequila. Eh? :D
Sounds good to me!

You should make a special soap for LOWERs. Perhaps one with smelling salts for when we feel faint on XC?
How about calming lavender?

I made a request to join. Love the background log! I was eventing my big 17.2 mare and we had just barely started jumping novice when she tore a suspensory and had to have surgery. I pulled my 14 year old TB out of the pasture and said “Dude, your up!” and we are starting all over again. I was getting quite brave with my mare but my gelding is a nervous mess so now I am. I hope to be braver! We start lessons on Monday with 18" cross rails. And yes, I am scared!!
