Looking for a western barn for my fiance’ to take basic western pleasure lessons. He has become somewhat interested, but wants to ride western. He’s only ridden 2x in his life, so is an absolute beginner. I’m a hunter rider. All my western/QH contacts/friends from childhood have either quit or moved away. North side of Atlanta is most convenient. Alpharetta, Roswell, Cumming, Canton, etc. Any suggestions?
An old friend of mine has a WP and halter barn up there. Her name is Leslie Shirley and her farm is Showcase Farm. They do lessons, training, showing, etc.
Not too far from there is KTR Farms, with Keri Davidson in Adairsville. She is really good. Her students win at Pinto Worlds and Paint Worlds all the time. She has good stock, and is a good trainer of people and horses.
