Spectrum, Zangersheide in fact encourages Z breeders to add the “Z” after the name. It has become more of an identification of the studbook than the identification of the farm.

I get the letter after the name but what about numbers? For example… Carlitos Way 6? Donatello 141? California 19?

These are generally added at the end of the name when multiple horses with the same name are registered with the same studbook.
