Light grey coat in the hunters/eq?

Enabling folks to go buy brown coats for hunters (mine has subtle camel trim but it’s hard to see):

And also enabling folks to buy gray coats for hunters:

Sometimes I think I ride better when I wear bolder colors :joy: Life is short and if we’re not going to win the class then damnit at the very least I’d like a nice photograph.

Love!! Brands please! I did try a GORGEOUS brown coat on with tan details from Tried Equestrian, but it was too small :sob:

The grey coat is beautiful, enjoy it. And all of you people who say you’re going to stand out if you make a mistake in a grey coat, do you really think the judge won’t notice if you’re wearing boring navy with tan breeches and make a major mistake?

Ha  I’ve had a light grey jacket hanging in my closet for a year unused since my horse was lame all last summer!
Now I’ll be fashionable when I break it out later this summer? Who would ever have thought that!!? (not on the same horse, sadly, but with a new project

Thank you! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:I know lots moan and groan about keeping a gray coat clean (they’re not wrong), but I have discovered that a wide range of riding jacket colors look splendid on him, so that’s a plus

Winston for the brown coat: https://www.winston-equestrian.com/usa/jackets/devon

I should come clean, however–I got that used from Ebay or Chagrin Saddlery and got stupid lucky with the price. New they are REAL expensive. But especially if you are a fuller, curvier rider whose body mesh-y tech fabrics don’t always love, this is a great coat. I’ve got two (both used). Reminds me of my early 2000s days but washable.

RJ Classics Monterey for the gray coat: https://rjclassics.com/products/new-monterey-show-coat-blue-weave

That’s an older one–I vividly remember getting it on clearance in like 2020. BUT, they do have some lovely charcoal variations atm. And they do cycle through lighter gray coats every 2-3 years it seems. I do like this tech fabric more than others because it’s got more structure to it and fits boobs and broad shoulders unlike some other brands.
