Misty Blue or anyone rise, can you help me? There is a rabbit in the storage room of our restaurant. Our restaurant is in the financial district of Boston. The storage room is below ground level in a public parking garage. I have no idea how he got there. I have caught the little guy. What can I do with him? I live in suburbs where there are rabbits in the woods. I thought I could let him go there but after reading the posts it sounds like a bad idea. I’d hate to euthanize him. Do I have any options?
Call your town’s official wildlife person.
@Timo Is it a wild rabbit? If it is wild I would call the Tufts Wildlife Center in Grafton. They can at least give you reasonable advice and might be able to take it. If it is a pet rabbit then get in touch with the House Rabbit Network. They are very active in our area and are great at rescuing our little bunny friends. If you aren’t sure, google what a wild rabbit looks like. They only look like that. Lop ears, any other color except the brown bunny color, are indications that it was someone’s pet. On several occasions I have discovered bunnies that have been “set free” by some idiot that need help finding a new home.
