looking for a Alberta/BC Trainer

Lindsay Beadle is an incredible young pro out of the Calgary area. Lovely, soft, truly gets the best out of any and every horse. She has a few doing the derbies and rides an itty bitty little grey, Cartini, in the 1.30s, just had a win at the Spruce Harvest Classic last week. Look her up for sure, she has a few videos on youtube. I could not have more respect for her methods.

I love Lindsay! I got to groom for her last year at Spruce, since Midge (Cartini) hails from my barn (:

There are many good trainers around the Calgary area. Feel free to pm me if you want…

A little late to this thread, but I highly recommend Norah Ross as a hunter trainer. Fox stone has a good young horse programme and Norah is a great educator of both horses and riders. I have watched her produce both for 25 years and am always impressed.

Fox stone is a lovely facility with nice owners.

stay AWAY from dayton and lisa carlson. they have personally scammed me out of hundreds of thousands of dollars - and i’ve seen them do it to everyone else.

jim ifko is as honest and nice as can be. andrea too.

don’t forget the van den boschs (they’re in red deer). they’re super super honest, have fantastic horses, and specialize in young stock. in fact, eric lamaze gave them his PERSONALLY OWNED hickstead baby to them to produce for him. they also just sold a homebred 7 year old to athena onasis for crazy amounts of money that george morris personally picked as an olympic hopeful. they’re not just hunter/jumper either - they recently helped me find a grand prix dressage horse for more than half the price of what anyone else would pay. personally, i think they are the most undervalued asset in western canada.

regardless of what anyone says, look at who has produced the most successful students and horses. its usually a good indicator of the quality of program.
