Good idea. Better to find out before it’s loaded up and sent to live on your money.
Whatever you do, choose your own vet from that area. Do not allow Trader Joe to be a part of the process. At all.

I have a new horse! Going to start a new thread. I do NOT want to jinx myself, but I am very hopeful this boy is my forever horse. Taking it one step at a time though. Short info, Azteca, grey, 15.3 hands, 8 yrs old, came from a hunter jumper barn. Weird backstory involving wife, pool boy, and pissed husband. This horse has proper training on him. Will put pics on new thread. Thank you for taking this ride with me and helping me thru it. I;m not going to say he is perfect until we get a couple months on him and see how I do but… hes nice. BAsically my trainer and I are still looking at each other and saying how did this horse end up with trader Joe?

Did you get another trip to Disney Land? (Ducking!) Congratulations on your new guy.
We did do Disney Land again! Had a blast, my trainer got me to ride the Thunder Mountain with my hands in the air! She told me new horse, you need to get your courage up, hands in the air!!! Only bummer is if you want to eat at the Blue Bayou (inside pirates of the carribean) apparently you have to book it months in advance ,boo. Oh, they had trick or treat churros, its a churro with caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and crunched up sugar cookies on it. Decadent!
