Looking for hay in Northern Ca
Anyone in NorCal looking for and or knowing of good, affordable grass-grass alf? I am in El Dorado County. Between Placerville and Auburn.
Last time I was at Sheldon Feed, they had some lovely stuff - about 10% alfalfa. $20/bale - not sure if you’ll find any better price this year

Hey guys, if you are going to talk about good cheap hay, can you also send a link as to where and how much? I live in angels camp and would sure love to find some good oat/Alf mix! Get it now but pricy!

I also have ponies, and I’m in the Placerville area also. I know where to get mountian meadow grass hay large bales 680 lb for 125.00 but it costs too much in fuel to go by myself. Maybe we could split fuel costs, or get another person to go in on some. I can only haul 6 at a time. the fuel would run 300.00 but split 2 or 3 ways…not too bad

I feed meadowgrass in Placer County - I’m looking to buy 30-40 bales in the next few weeks.
