I was actually getting some help putting together an “equine resume” and was looking at sending it over to a couple people in Australia, as my other half is in the Australian Navy. In the mean time I am looking at the Richmond/Charlottesville area…It has been a while since I have been back to that area and was interested in some info on local Pony Clubs and organizations in that area that would be worth contacting. I know a couple people in the area that I was going to try and have a meeting with, to see how much the area has changed in the last 3 plus years!
I was also interested to get some opinions on the Jacksonville area. If that ends up being my “stop gap” point, are there any pony clubs or barns and such in the North FL southern GA area that might be worth contacting.
It may go without saying, but I feel the need to say it, the equine community can be tough, but it can also be a group with such a great bond. While still trying to get my “sea legs” I am so thankful to the community and suggestions as I would have had no idea!!

Oh I would so love it if a stronger event community grew in Richmond!! There really needs to be an event there because it is closer to me than CHP, LOL!!!

There are no Pony Clubs in south GA sadly, and there is one just north of Tallahassee, FL. Best of luck in whatever you do!
