is my horse’s name Lost My Sock more of a QH or a Hunter name??
Quite a few years ago there was a very famous hunter named Lost My Sock. Its a pretty cute name for any horse. Sock was a TB and I’m sure long gone by now.
I don’t think he would mind at all if you named your QH after him.
Beautiful has TB and QH in her. She is a paint.
Does she have a colored ankle? Go for it, its a cute name!
I saw a really cute children’s horse/pony named Lost My Sock on a barn’s web site not long ago. Think it’s a h-j barn. Horse was a chestnut with 3 socks. I thought the name was really appropriate and cute. I think it would be a great name to use. If you have the appropriate QH lines the name could be Doc’s in Sox. Justa thought.
I remember a hunter pony with that name showing in the 80’s and he had three socks and one solid leg. Beautiful chestnut with a flaxen mane. I always loved his name and i say go for it!
