Alfalfa or Timothy Alfalfa cubes, flaked to the desirable size. I use these as the main treat for my two horses. My 34 year old pony gets a puffed mint since his teeth don’t work as well as they used to.
Seminole makes a alfalfa treat that my horses go crazy for. They are more expensive than a 50lb bag of cubes, so they only occasionally get a bag of those.
