I am actually trying an Antares from a woman at the barn who got a new saddle. Had it for her late WB who had massive shoulders so maybe thinking it might work?
I had a childeric, actually didn’t fit many horses very well. Was a “ok” fit for the average thicker Tb or narrower wb.
I found the cwd pro pannel (rt) to be the best for fitting a wide range of horses.
Fwiw I don’t have either saddle anymore, but from an unbiased opinion if you are looking for a good fit try a bunch of used saddles and an unbiased fitter.
Thank you! That is certainly the way I am leaning towards. I am trying to make time for an independent saddle fitter to come out and try a bunch of saddles on and take a look at my current saddle fit. Very interested in seeing what she has to say!
