I can’t say it better than this. I am so sorry.
I am heartbroken for you. I hope in time you can take some comfort in the fact that you not only gave him a wonderful life, but his life has no doubt helped others in the process.

Coming out of my self imposed posting break to express my sincerest condolences and to wish Calvin Godspeed. The tribute is beautiful, his wings weren’t visible but that didn’t stop him from using them. I know he has them gloriously unfurled on the other side now. I know your pain all too well and hope that in time that fades and you can cherish your countless memories.

Ivy, I am so sorry. You did everything that could be done for Cal. He had a good life. He also contributed to the veterinary knowledge of lymphoma. Thank you for sharing his story with all of us.
