Update on my horse! I started him on Assure Guard Gold the week before Christmas and we have had normal poop ever since. Right now, he is getting the loading dose, and I am going broke… but it WORKS. I can’t believe how well it works. I will try and taper down once we get past the 6 week point to the recommended daily dose, and will hope for normal poop… otherwise my wallet will continue to cry. This stuff isn’t cheap, but it is definitely worth it!

I’m glad to see that people are finding solutions to this messy problem! So far the Mad Barn probiotics are working for us, but my gelding only had a couple days of watery poops before I put him on the probiotics so I don’t know if he would have developed a chronic situation otherwise. I didn’t want to wait to find out! I will keep psyllium husks in mind as well
