Apple cider vinegar is another goodie. I used to buy it direct from the orchard. You could just turn up with your own containers to fill and it was super cheap. The horses loved it.

Another tried and true for when you run out of corn syrup is Hershey’s Strawberry Syrup. Great to keep on hand for bitter meds, etc. Good ol’ Chip has lots of kind aunties on here mentioning all kinds of yummy potions you can rotate. Go Chip!
