Polo is mostly male, racing seems to be too? The ones that rise in the more female domintated sports must be particularly dedicated and talented because for the average guy, teenage or not, getting beaten by a bunch of girls all the time doesn’t sound all that appealing. I see a lot of the reverse happening in more meritocratic corners of finance like public markets funds, where you don’t see a lot of female money managers but the ones that are there are GOOD.
