I have a wall where I have these hooks and they alternate in height (so there are 6 at about 6’ or so high, and in between those are another 5 at about 6’6" or so high – helps to stagger them that way so I can put the wugs on the top ones, and regular cuts on the lower ones). I hang the blankets from the wither/neck area. I like these hooks as they are a bit broader and don’t rip the lining like some thinner ones do. I like to hang them this way rather than folded on bars as it allows them to dry if wet and I don’t have to handle them as much if dirty. But I only have to deal with a small amount of horses and blankets.
