Looks like a Dachsy on steroids, his hind end is losing hair.
The drawback is, I don’t see him every day, as a matter of fact, I go days without catching site of him.
what can I do to help that poor pupper out?
Well, it could be anything; it may not be sarcoptic mange; it could be demodectic mange or some other immune condition. You would really need a skin scraping before treating.
Even if you know it is sarcoptic mange, there may be topical treatment and oral treatment together.
