Mare Sharing--free broodmare leases

GORGEOUS 12 y.o. 16 hh experienced trakehner broodmare for free lease

I am looking for a free lease situation to an approved home for this year and possibly longer. Unfortunately, it does not look like I will have the finances to breed her this year but would like for her system to get used to being a mom again.

My mare, Allie, was an embryo transfer recipient mare for Dr. Hurtgen of Nandi Veterinary associates, of New Freedom, PA from the ages of 3-7. In that time period she successfully foaled a number of standardbred babies. According to Dr. Hurtgen she took the semen on the first try, every time and had no problems during the foaling and the pregnancy.

I bought her as a sporthorse project when she was 7 and has not only had the job of being a wonderful mom but also a very talented mount. Shes a very nice mover and jumper. She doesn’t have much of a performance record due to the fact that I lost interest in showing but did very well in local schooling dressage and jumper shows, as well as some rated hunter shows. She has jumped 4ft with ease and scope to go higher but was not pushed due to the onset of hock arthritis (which does NOT run in her family) She is currently still in work so she will be fit for her pregnancy. Her full brother of the same age, Special Edition, is still showing on the A and AA hunter circuit and doing extermely well!

My mare’s breeding is as follows…

Dam: Allitalia - an approved german trakehner verband mare that was imported to the states in the 80s. She is now deceased but lived to be very old. Allitalia was sired by Mahagoni and out of Anilana 5878 by Marten out of Anizja

Sire: Special Memories by Abdullah and out of Kluwall. Special Memories is owned by Dorothy Rowland @ Touchstone Valley Farm. They have a website and I would suggest checking out their website to take a look at his performance record.

Unforunately, I have not been able to get my mare approved due to the fact that I am struggling to find transfer of ownership papers from the home she was at before Dr. Hurtgen owned her. I cannot get a hold of the woman who owned her before then. However, I DO have her dam and sire’s ATA/German trakehner verband papers. I am still attempting to find a way to get her approved without the transfer of ownership papers but it may take some more time.

If anyone would like photos of my mare let me know. I have an arsenal of pictures I would be happy to e-mail. You may also feel free to call me @ 717-989-2154. She is available for a on or off-site lease; off-site lease to approved home only. If interested in an on-site lease she would be VERY well cared for at the farm that I work/live at. Thanks!

Free lease available on a 16.3H Bit Of Class daughter. I am not going to rebreed this year and she is too nice of a mare to not use. She was 3rd as a yearling on the line in the IHF and a champion over fences at Warrenton. She is a sabino chestnut. I would prefer that she stays on my farm in FL.

Here is her pedigree:

In Utero breeding available

Take the chance and breed to a stallion standing in Sweden (or Europe) a lot of our stallions here aren’t available in N.A or is priced a lot less here.

I have a very well bred TB mare open for this season, she is 16,0 h.h, bay with a thin blaze, good confirmation and VERY good gaits! Jumps with good capacity and technique. Very nice character.
Her pedigree includes the same bloodlines as, Alligator Fontaine, Lauries Crusador xx, Jaguar Mail to mention a few.
She is easily bred, catches in first try. Got a beautiful Alligator Fontaine filly 2008, now in foal to Loredes (Lauries Crusador xx - World Cup I ) and is due in May.

Example on available stallions:
On AI/TAI; Alligator Fontaine, Jaguar Mail, Briar, Odermus R
On FAI; Laptop, Silvio, Quidam de Revel, For Pleasure, Nintender, COupe de Coeur
All stallions are reasonable priced, Quidam de Revel costs approximately 1400euro/ insemination = you could get a Quidam foal for almost no money!
Noted that I can get a hold of semen from almost any stallion located in Europe.

The mare is standing in Sweden and will remain in my custody until she is foaled out and the foal is weaned. You will pay for the breeding and stallion costs and a reasonable compensation for the loan of the uterus which includes all accommodation.
The foal will be registered in ASVH or Hannover, depending on the stallions approval, it might be in another association.

I also have a SWB mare with a ELITE awarded dam and grand dam, she has siblings from medium level jumping and up, Dam competed successfully in medium level and grand dam competed in highest level. Has left Class 1 foals.
By Helwan (Boreas) out of a mare by Furidant (Furioso II).

If you are interested in other Swedish Bloodlines, let me know and I will see if I can help you.

Lovely Thoroughbred Mare available for free lease

Looking for a free lease situation for one of our TB Mares…

Slew Plate Special (1998) - Slew the Slewor x Plate’s Sister (Bucksplasher)

Slew is a lovely 15.1h mare with a swinging walk, BIG, elastic trot, and uphill, balanced canter. She is very well put together with a big, strong shoulder and powerful hind end. She is very easy to work with and has a great disposition. She had been used for race breeding when we purchased her. We aquired her with the intent of breeding sporthorses. I have her 4 yr old filly, who is her most recent foal. She has been hanging out with our other broodmared since having Buttons. We have not bred her since foaling out. She is really nice, but we are focusing more on race breeding and she would be best suited for a sporthorse breeding program. She is linebred to Buckpasser as well Northern Dancer, both sires known for producing Talented and athletic Sporthorses. Pictures and Video available upon request…

She is located in Paris, KY

Thanks,

Johanna

free lifelong lease

I have an amazing TB mare, approved MAIN MARE BOOK HANOVERIAN & GERMAN OLDENBURG.

She consistantly throws foals the sires size range.

I’ll bet if bred to a pony, she will throw pony sizes… She WILL throw the sires color.

She has several foals that are National chanmpions in dressage & a champion from the IHF finals in Kentucky.

She is great with timid mares, alpha mares, mares with foals, gelding, yearlings, and killer for weaning foals to… super sweet mare very quiet. VERY pretty. easy keeper too.

located in Florida.
I have owned her for 10 years, she has a gorgeous 08 colt, was left open for 09… she breeds march-may, has been under lights, gets in foal easy, foals out no problems and all of her foals have been big correct & healthy.

Located in florida… her 1 thing, she shivers in cold weather, does not get a winter coat, so if you are in a super cold climate, she will need blankets & cannot be left out in bad weather.
email me privately please…

AHS Mare still looking for '09 situation

Looking to place our AHS mare for the '09 season. She is currently registered and in the main stud book. She is a bay 16.0+H 2003 maiden, by Dominator (Domingo) out of Guldenblatt/Gueldenstein.
Located just south of Charlotte, NC. We’re just looking to give her some time to get over a pasture injury - should have no effect on her breeding/foaling.

Looking for 16.3H+ mare for 2009 season

Hi all,

I’m in the awkward position this year of having one more paid stud fee than mares–some bad luck with mares slipping last year. I’m looking for a free lease on a proven broodmare with good conformation standing 16.3H or taller, TB or warmblood, with a scopey jump. Would be even better if the mare is riding sound.

I have a lovely private farm in central Ontario.

2006 17h Holsteiner Mare in MA for free lease

I have a beautiful 2006 17h Holsteiner mare who for a number of reasons can no longer be ridden, though she is pasture sound with no maintenance.

She has a Certificate of Pedigree from the AHHA. She is out of a Louciabo/Animo mare and she is by Triomf, who was by Indoctro and out of Olette (by Voltaire). I’m offering her for free lease as a broodmare prospect. She has never been bred before.

She is incredibly sweet and loving. She loves her turnout and would do great living out 24/7. She has lived out in a big herd of mares in the past, and in her current turnout situation is babysitting a 2 year old gelding who has been with her since he was weaned. She has excellent feet and goes happily barefoot.

She currently lives in MA. I’m looking to free lease her to a home in the northeast or NY so that I can more easily keep track of how she is doing. Please PM with any questions and/or for pictures!
