Mare-sharing--free broodmare leases!

Looking for a nice hunter type pony mare to lease. Would like something proven or with proven offspring. Must be a good mover and have a nice head. Would prefer a medium but will consider other sizes. I am located in Ontario, would like to stay within 5 hours from me.

oakwood_farm@hotmail.com

I have a 15.3-16h 1998 OTTB broodmare available for breeding lease. Correct conformation, hunter movement. Two of her foals (full siblings) are very huntery movers. The third is starting an eventing career. All 3 were easy babies and conformationally correct.

Easy keeper. Excellent, quiet momma.

Would be more interested in a deal including breeding back to a smaller stallion for a future pony club mount for my daughter.

Email off list if interested. Located in Delaware. Must stay within 2 hours at an approved farm with lease signed and visits allowed.

Also have an older ISH mare that I would consider leasing very locally - must include being sent back in foal to approved stallion (refined TB).

References will be checked on all candidates.

Looking for WB broodmare in N. Calif.

Proven broodmare who can be bred with frozen semen. Breeds and foals easily.

Ideally, the mare is at least 16.1 with good conformation and athletic ability and good mind.
She has strong jumper lines.
She throws big, healthy, quality foals having good, solid conformation and athleticism.

European warmblood though not really registry specific as there are so many cross overs of very influential sires including those great TBs. in German, French, Dutch and other European warmbloods.

I have a pretty 2002 OTTB mare that has has 4 babies and I left open so I could sell her after her 2011 baby was weaned. She is 15.2 a gorgeous mover, has a cute jump and had a premium Oldenburg colt in 2011. He is big and expected to reach at least 16.1 hands. She is Oldenburg approved also. Her other foals, one is racing and is now stakes placed, will race. She is by Delineator (Storm Cat) out of a producing and 134k winning mare by Conquistador Cielo. I have pics and videos. She is rideable and would be best suited by someone who has experience with OTTB’s. I rode her several times last fall. I would lease her to anyone within 150 miles of Tacoma/Olympia Wa.
Would prefer to sell her for a very nominal price to a good home and not have to worry about her.

egg/embryo

Wanted to see if anyone was interested in purchasing an embryo from my mare. She is from stamen 5024. Really, you can’t get much nicer jumper blood lines then you have here! She is fully approved for breeding. Her Here is her pedigree:

I would also be interested in finding out if anyone would be interesting to offer their stallion and/or recipient mare to have partial ownership of the resulting foal. Didn’t know if that was something anyone would even be interested.

Dutch WB mare in GA

Black, 16.2 dutch wb mare (but unregistered) located in GA. She is by the show jumper stallion Ommen (kwpn) out of an unknown-pedigree mare named Joyful. Turning 16 this year. She competed in the jumpers as a young horse and then as an eventer through preliminary before an injury that prevented her from progressing further. She is a proven broodmare; had one foal in 2008 after sustaining a serious injury in 2007. She was in foal after the first insemination, her pregnancy and foaling were easy, and she was a great mother. Her son is turning 4 this year and has about 90 days under saddle. So far he is everything I expected and I would love to breed her again, but I can’t afford a third horse, so I would love to see her have another foal for someone else. She is a lovely mover and gorgeous horse. Message me for more info and photos; I will only lease her to someone with excellent references and who provides high quality care.

Well known Welsh/TB Pony Broodmare available

We have too many mares we want to breed this year, so are offering Welsh/TB pony mare Rosecroft Smart Cookie for a free breeding lease either in foal to Alvesta Picasso or Daventry’s Power Play at no additional charge as we’d hate to see her stay open this year.

She’s a 14.1 1/2 HH bay rabicano and is double registered Half Welsh, VPBA, branded and inspected ASPR and Reserve Site Champion. By Farnley Belshazzar, out of a smaller TB hunter mare who has won Championships at Pebble Beach.

She is the dam of Poster Boy (over fence picture below), who was a high seller at the Pony Finals Auction and 4th overall in his division at Pony Finals. We showed “Molly” over fences in 2009 and she was the Canadian National Champion Junior Hunter and Reserve Canadian National Champion Senior Hunter and placed 3rd Nationally in Half Welsh halter and Junior English Pleasure. Her 2003 filly tied for the highest score in North American for the Foal Championships for the American Sport Pony.

Molly is such a sweet mare, that we used her as a surrogate mare when our other foal’s dam had to be put down due to cancer. We had no problems putting the two of them together and she allowed the other little foal to nurse with no problems.

Contact us for more details.

I have an Art Deco/TB mare, solid bay with star/sock, who is an incredible mover, and always outproduces herself. Won a lot on the line at Devon/other east coast shows as a young horse, and has foals that are very correct and big moving. The judges mouths drop open when they see this mare’s huge trot. Due to an awful experience letting her go on a broodmare lease to VA I will only do an on-farm lease, you pay stud fee, vet, and her expenses, and the foal will be yours. I want to breed her terribly myself, but I am getting too old to keep a foal for the future, and don’t want to sell any more babies. If you want a fancy competition horse, she could produce that for you.

My trainer has a 16.1hh black TB mare he is trying to place. She won a race and raised two foals, one a hunter and one an endurance horse.

Her pedigree is here…

I have a friend at my barn that is looking to free lease/give away her 4 year old Judgement mare. Smaller build, very athletic. Horse in located in California.

I’m looking for a Warmblood mare to lease for breeding, prefer Hanoverian or Dutch WB. A bonus would be an option to buy. Must be registered and prefer no TB dam. Ideally, she is at least 16 hands, has correct conformation, and moves like a dressage horse. I can provide excellent reference and high quality care. I’m located in Texas. PM me if you know of such a mare.

Offered for on-site lease/custom foal:

Itzy Doll
1999 Bay Oldenburg Mare
Approved MMB GOV and ISR/OLD
Has had three foals, all easy breedings, and uncomplicated deliveries

Was WONDERFUL under saddle, very talented. Totally sound, but has been a broodmare for the last several years. Produces outstanding foals, the best foal I ever bred was a Fabuleux filly out of this mare. I have been leasing the mare for several years, and am not going to be able to afford to breed her this year. Her owners would like her to stay here, and the cost is just the cost of care and insurance

Also, I am offering my big girl for lease/custom foal again:

Roxannah
2001 Bay Oldenburg mare
Approved MMB GOV
Easy to breed fresh or frozen. Nice, big mover. Due in a couple of weeks with her third foal (also a custom foal). Has produced some wonderful offspring, pictures upon request. I would prefer her to stay her, but I’m not opposed to letting her go to an approved facility after this years foal is weaned.

http://secretambitionstables.com/?page_id=335

I have close access to several really good repro facilities (UC Davis being one).

Please email me:
secretambitionstables@gmail.com

I am the most recent leaser of Roxannah above. I’d be happy to provide reference for Dressage Diva. She has been wonderful to work with and has handled my moments of panic and fear as a long distance lease completely professionally  She’s even working on putting up a webcam and getting me access!

Thanks Sam! One more month!!

I have a wonderful Selle Francais mare that I am offering for an on-site lease next year. Lessee just pays expenses.

Heartland is by Olisco out of an Omega mare. She is the dam of Grand Prix jumper Lamplight and has produced phenomenal foals by Voltaire, Indoctro, Concorde, Noble Champion, and Cor Noir. She is a sweetheart of a mare and is an easy breeder. She’s fairly stocky, coming from the Dutch in her pedigree, but is small at about 15.2 hands. I cannot say enough good things about this mare. She’s an excellent mother and absolutely the kindest mare I’ve ever met.

She was never ridden, due to an injury as a foal, but has lovely movement and a massive trot. All of her foals have been fantastic, but I am getting back into showing after some time off and have decided that I won’t really have time for foals next year, and this mare just adores being a mom. Heartland is due April 5th and will be available after that. I would like her to stay on-site. I’m located right outside of Atlanta, GA. I have access to several great repro vets and facilities nearby and my main repro vet knows this mare very well.

Also, I will likely be taking her to ISR/Old N.A. inspections this summer and I am open to the possibility of other registries if the lessee is interested.

Please contact me for more info as well as pictures of Heartland and her foals.
