I also board at Southwind and have been there for 12 years, I think, but there are some who have been there longer. It’s a good multidiscipline facility where you avoid the downfalls of a trainer based barn. You have a great deal of flexibility to have the type of training you want. Carolyn Del Grosso is based there. She’s a very kind, patient, and well educated trainer with a loyal following. A number at Southwind also ride with Barbara Strawson who is truly wonderful on all levels. I agree that you should visit the facilities and watch some lessons to see what works for you
Southwind also allows outside trainers, Barbara Strawson and Carol Herron both teach there too.
