Mask fog

He wears it under the mask? Or tapes the mask on with it?

He puts the tape on his face, then puts his mask on, then his glasses. So the tape is stuck to his face, not to the mask. He is not taping the mask to his face with this product, in other words.

I tried the Starks masks. Awful. #1, they do not work–more fog, not less; #2, they have a weird chemical smell. I washed them repeatedly and they still stink

Sorry to hear that. I had heard good things about them. :frowning:

Have you considered contact lenses?

When I practiced surgery and had to start wearing reading glasses to see what I was doing, glasses fog was a problem even with N95 masks. A nurse recommended bifocal contacts - problem solved.

It has been very cold in southern New York, and the mask fog has gotten really bad. By the time I am done riding, the condensation is literally dripping down my lenses.

I can’t wear contact lenses and can’t see without glasses.

So today I tried something today: taped the mask to my face. Ran a strip of masking tape along the top of the mask and onto my face, below my eyes and across the bridge of my nose, cheekbone to cheekbone. It helped. Peeled off pretty easily, does not seem to have damaged skin.
