And let’s not forget about the comments aimed at Ms Jaffer in the last few days included “fat shaming” by the good ole “Jim Stark”. (FYI, I have no clue as to what her body shape is in real life).

Is it just me or did Nancy Jaffer’s first two articles seemed slanted towards LK and the last, in the words of Paul Harvey, more “…the rest of the story…”?
That’s my impression and why I am not surprised now by the attacks on Nancy Jaffer.

She’s been RIDICULOUSLY cruel to other riders in the past as well. Someone from NC posted screenshots in one of the discussion threads a few months ago, and they clearly showed how LK bullied her in public on social media about her weight and riding her own horse. It was awful - the poster had a great position, her horse was a fine match for the rider’s size, and the horse appeared happy and relaxed. The commentary from LK was RIDICULOUS.

I do not know Nancy personally, but as someone who was for many years in the same biz, I did cross paths with her at major events. She is a lovely, outgoing, very professional woman worthy of respect for what she has accomplished in a very niche, competitive career field. No doubt she laughed off LK’s remarks (if she even saw them). But really. To make derogatory comments about someone’s physical appearance and age? How childish.

Yes. But JH said that because it is much more complicated to explain to lay people that it wouldn’t be worth trying. In a court of law, that was an adequate answer. Especially from someone who knew the difference. But, Dr. Grande opined rather extensively on it beyond just calling it horse dancing.
