Correct. It’s not until they do something like Jonathan and Kirby Kanarek and ignore the subpoena that you see something on the website. Or, another scenario - avoiding service, you can ask the courts for alternate methods of service, and that would show up.
But to get teeth of enforcement of honoring the Subpoena personal service is the way to go. Sometimes you have to get clever. I’ve done a few just for fun and the challenge.
You can use ANYTHING as evidence. The key is it being good evidence. Anonymous unverified poster writes stuff doesn’t have the chops of in person sworn testimony.
Daddy, Mommy and Plaintiff aren’t willing to comply. Do you really expect a minion to? A person who is so connected to the Ks that they were entrusted with the videos that they couldn’t give to the prosecution for the trial. Someone so involved doesn’t usually just disappear though. I wonder how she’s doing with LK’s FB page being down?
My gut feeling is that LK and Shelly were just posturing on FB like usual. I doubt she’s ever seen or heard anything, rather LK said there was evidence, and Shelly just started agreeing in comments, because it’s harmless right? Anyone can lie on social media and it’s meaningless, right?
I think it’s probably worthwhile to question her and make sure there isn’t any depth to her statements, but if she replied with ‘never saw anything, was just fooling around on social media’, I’d believe it.
This is exactly my feeling. I’ve seen this kind of play by play on Social Media before. It’s meaningless fluff where two basically strangers feed off each other to taunt others.
@Sdel I mean, it could be all true, I just think they were playing a game. I wouldn’t be surprised if rando Shelly just posted some crap about “Oh I’ve SEEN the evidence, you wouldn’t BELIEVE it!!!” and then LK went along with it, because, why not.
I tend to agree with you. But from any of the defendants’ perspective, I’m chasing down any hint of the videos that Lauren has yet to produce in the lawsuit she started. Either a) they don’t exist and it’s one more nail in the FTB plot, or B) they don’t show anything helpful to her and could be devastating to her cause, or C) they did exist but were destroyed (see B). Otherwise, she would happily be turning them over to help bolster her case.
Oh yes, if I was a defendant, I would absolutely want this chased down and brought to light - because any way you spin it, it isn’t a good thing for the Plaintiff.
I just think it’s more of LK’s Evidence Nothingburger
