MB Civil Trial: JK/KK Contempt of Court?

Except I do think there are a lot of videos that were never produced. There have been numerous references to them. They had a propensity for recording, and we know audio files exists, so I do believe there are videos as well. I just do not get the sense that LK makes up stuff whole cloth. Twists, misrepresents, liberally edits, all to the effect of lying….but not whole cloth fabrication of an event that didn’t happen.

Remember, there is enough dysfunction in these relationships that we have a whole group conspiracy….

Minion will comply because minion is not cut from the same stuff as evidenced by her being a minion. Shelly doesn’t have the same protections in place. She’d be left out in the rain.

And if there are no recordings or videos Shelly saw it still discredits LK.

Even random people they see at the store.

And I’m still trying to figure out when it was that LK stopped MB from leaving, slamming his truck door shut on him… And if that was recorded by any of the cameras on the property.

I honestly just don’t know what to feel about the whole videos thing. I think she has previous videos of things she shouldn’t have been recording before the incident. I’m assuming these were likely deleted from the cloud but are likely on a USB stick somewhere. I’m sure they wanted to turn that all over the police, but I’m guessing that none of it would have helped the case, as we all know stating that you “want to kill” someone who is annoying the begeebus (to put it mildly) does not, in fact, depict a murder plot.

As for videos of the event itself? I think those likely never existed. I think they knew crap was hitting the fan and turned them off conveniently. OR, maybe it’s actually true that the pings were annoying and RG just got grumpy and turned it off. Maybe it’s that one kernel of truth that got spewed. Amongst the weeds.

I thought the testimony was that the police never tried to collect them until quite a while after the incident.

The one officer did testify that RG said he had a recording in the Miranda hearing. It was not mentioned in the criminal trial. That seems to be at odds with RG having turned off the camera right before the shooting happened.

Couldn’t tell you. I just don’t know what the actual truth is. Was RG referring to the ‘plot’? I do think it’s a major failing that police never investigated this aspect. It certainly gives a lot to speculate about.

I have a really really hard time believing that if LK had video of her getting shot exactly as she says happened, that she wouldn’t have leaked that by her own accord somehow. The trial is over, the 48hrs episode has aired, it would only bolster her civil case… so if it exists, I feel like we would have seen it before.

Please explain the process Shelley would have to use to respond to a subpoena. I don’t think she’s of means to be able to afford an attorney to respond for her although I guess LK could provide one for her. The nitty gritty of these actions is foreign to most of us.

Well, if it’s a subpoena for things: videos, docs, etc…she just needs to turn them over to the requesting party.

If it’s a request for a deposition, you show up.

If you don’t want to do what they’re asking you (produce docs, show up) you file a motion to quash before the deadline given in the request.

Otherwise, you end up like Jonathan and Kirby Kanarek, with contempt motions filed against you.

Sorry that I can’t answer you question but I have a side comment -

In the thread where LK was going on and on about the Top 5 global tap dancing law team she has where she sits in on zoom meetings with 8 senior partners or whatever it was she was talking about -

I thought that was so odd. Why would any normal person need a legal team like this? And why the hell would someone brag about needing said legal team? The average person might need a lawyer once or twice in their life.what do you have to be doing to warrant this as a person, and why isn’t this a red flag to said person? Redundant questions, I know, considering it’s LK.

Anyway, I just thought the whole thing was bizarre.

It’s fun to envision, isn’t it? It started with the mental note of white shoes, then I thought of purple shoes, disco shoes, then tap dancers and now I like to imagine tap dancing lawyers that LK beckons to dance in a circle around her every need.

Is Lauren Kanarek’s page fully down or is it just made invisible to all the low life of the world that are not her friends?

Oh I disagree entirely. I think RG “said” he turned the video off, when in fact he and JK went to the home THE NEXT DAY to get something out of the house. If they were just getting something innocent, like clothes or something, why did they both need to go? Why did RG leave her side if she was busy dying? What was so bloody important in that house that they just couldn’t wait another second to retrieve it? The video of the entire brouhaha, that’s what I think. I have my fingers crossed hard that there still exists a copy somewhere…

See, the other reason why I think it is unlikely that the video was turned off; LK spends hours rewatching the criminal trial. If there was a plan to do something to MB when he showed up at the house that day….she’d make sure to have it on video so she can spend hours rewatching it.

Me too. People like this wouldn’t be able to destroy such a video, instead bringing it out to rejoice in how they FtB occasionally.
