Now that I can see happening… if someone thinks someone else sabotaged their show or scores for a medal. I could definitely see that sending someone over the edge even if it’s just in their head. I could def see that happening some riders are hardcore over that stuff lol

1. MHG fired LK as a student before LK could fire MHG as a trainer
2. MHG said in front of daddy, god and everyone that she should leave
3. MHG wouldn’t let her use a bridle (I’m guessing LK didn’t actually ask permission)

I totally agree because I was one of those obsessive ones about scores, tests, judges, venues, etc. as a show mom. Because being hard core about it is taking responsibility for what happens.
Had she done her homework, she would have recognized the judge had changed and that she’d ridden under that judge at that level and approached the show office to find another 2nd level class with a different judge to switch to. Show offices are very accommodating to that kind of situation if they can make the change. Crap happens, judges get sick, their planes are delayed, anything can cause a show manager to have to make a change. It’s not some diabolical plot to ruin someone’s day!

It is ALWAYS the rider’s responsibility to verify their entry, know their test, be prepared and so forth. Lauren expects that everyone else does for her - her groom(s), her trainer, her coach, her top ten global law firm. That way she always has someone to blame when she screws up.

So what happened in June to cause her to go so completely off the deep end? Is it possible that was when she learned that MB wanted her to leave? And that realization was what drove her to go nuclear and launch a war of retaliation against MB?

That’s possible.

Did they attend a show somewhere in the interim? Maybe if she did not get the scores she wanted with whatever the recent training program was, that set her off.

There are people who think the squeaky wheel gets the grease, rather than an eviction notice.

Something happened to make it VERY clear to LK that she was never going to be MHG, or ride with the success of MHG.

What that event was is anyone’s guess.

The jury wasn’t presented with that possibility because MB has no memory of the event and cannot present his side of it, so all we have is LK and RG, who have proven to be unreliable sources in so many things.

I can imagine she was livid when Michael Poulin would come and coach MH and shower her and Michael with attention. MH had everything LK wants in her life…everything. Talent, kids, a successful man, goals, energy, education, friends, family, looks, attention, respect, ability…you name it, MH was everything LK could never be.

The jury was instructed to start from a presumption of innocence. If the prosecution had not made its case that he shot her, the jury should have returned a verdict of straight not guilty on all counts. The jury did not return a verdict of not guilty on all counts. Therefore, ….

Regarding the civil case, 48 Hours stated as fact that he took the gun from the safe and drove up to the farmhouse with it. Even if she was injured accidentally in a “scuffle”, his bringing the gun to a confrontation he initiated is probably enough to find him liable for injuring her. That’s the issue in the civil trial.

Why do you have an obsession with the contracts and board? People have stated numerous times there are many conditions to contracts.
