After my unique colored breeches thread I’m here yet again. This time I’m on the hunt for some riding gear for my husband. I’ve had next to no luck looking online for brown field boots for men. Any suggestions on where to look?
Also, what breeches fit a tall, lanky, but athletic build best?

Good luck! I have trouble finding apparel for my DH. We’ve found that he likes the Shires breeches the best, and the denim breeches from Goode Rider he also really likes. It’s easier to find men’s boots in Europe unfortunately. It’s hard here! http://www.equestrian.com/c/mens/mens-riding-wear/mens-long-riding-boots/ A lot of those come in brown.
My husband rides in Riding Sport breeches (as do I). Love them! As for mens brown tall boots, I haven’t seen any in the main stream tack shops. Maybe sizing up for a womens boot would work depending on his size?

Oh thank you! I’m able to buy in Europe because my husband has an office there. A lot of European retailers won’t ship to the US which is really disappointing.
I’m also looking for really nice brown spur straps. Finding men’s stuff really is a PIA!
Yes, it seems more men in Europe ride h/j, eventing, etc. than do here, so it’s much easier. 
Sounds like you have the perfect opportunity with your husband’s office!
You can probably get away with women’s spur straps, I would think? I don’t know if they’re much better for men’s boots or not. I had never really thought of it. But I buy generic spur straps, and my DH wears them.
carries some mens stuff, I am not sure what all might be online, but I know they have breeches and coats
We went to Middleburg, VA and the surrounding areas to outfit my husband, ordering wasn’t an option as I had no clue on sizes. Dover does carry some men’s things and they do have a store in Austin.
