A thing that I have found to be entirely life changing in regards to riding, is actual underwear made for periods, like Thinx or any kind of offshoot brand.

I’ve been doing a lot of looking into period underwear recently. I don’t mind a pad for the early, heavy days, but by the end of my period it’s starting to become irritating and the thin liners bunch up so badly. Is there a particular brand you recommend?

I have the brand “Ruby” but I got them a size too small so they’re not that comfortable, but they still work. I also have one from Amazon that I really like! Wouldn’t be good for heavy flow days, but good when it’s starting/ending.

Second the Thinx, although they are risky for riding if you aren’t sure you are on a light day. Riding makes things flow quickly sometimes and Thinx definitely have failed me even on a light day with their biggest volume model.
