Michael Barisone/Lauren Kanarek Civil Suit

Thank you all!

 I wonder what restrictions she would “require”? Hmmmm……

Isn’t it weird how we all react? While I will admit I found LK’s 911 call to be oddly calm and weirdly worded, I didn’t find it to be so strange as to be a huge red flag. Maybe that’s because I also can be better under pressure. That said, I don’t know that I would have said his full name unsolicited. So much about that call was odd.

That was “Unbelievable.” It’s on Netflix. It’s a book. It was also a series of Pulitzer Prize magazine articles.

Yes, Safari on both.

Except that she told everyone and their brother about how she beat MB over the head with her phone for seven minutes.

And that picture of MB in the hospital certainly shows plenty of damage to his face and head.

Me too. Wonder if it’s that!

So LK wants restrictions on her deposition. Does her lawyer file a motion stating those restrictions and then the judge grants what restrictions he thinks are reasonable? Will we be able to see that motion on the restrictions and what she doesn’t want to testify to?

That is the part that has jumped out at me every time I’ve heard that call. From both LK and RG.

Again, so much of that testimony doesn’t make sense! How did he come to be so badly beaten? What happened in those seven minutes? Who was inside or outside? Where was the dog?

Yes. Particularly since she admitted on social media that the dog was supposed to be tied up at all times, as I recall.

Based on what he wrote, unless there’s a real out there reason there won’t be any extensions. When the judge says “highly unlikely” he means you’ll need a Drs note.

Thanks for staying here and weighing in!

The testimony from LK/RG is noticeably contradictory. The cop showed up very quickly after they placed the 911 call since he happened to be right up the street. Wasn’t it something like 60 or 90 seconds later?

So was LK beating MB with her phone for five minutes and change before she called 911?

I don’t think that was the story she told in court, or in her initial statement to the police. Or I don’t think those two accounts matched, anyway.

It’s all very suspect. The quick arrival of the cops means that whatever happened, happened fast. I am just curious about how he got beat up he got that quickly if it was all after the shooting.

To bold quote use two asterisks ( ** ) to either side of the portion you want bolded.

Especially since MB was not fully conscious when the cop arrived, according to the cop’s testimony.

How long were they beating him while he was unconscious before the cop arrived?

Well, precisely. And how violently were they beating him?

I’m going to guess pretty violently, based on the damage to his head and arm.

I also want to underscore that I do not know if Michael shot Lauren or if Lauren contributed. All we know is things look susss.

I wonder if after she and rg did all the beating she then realized she’d been shot, and THAT’s when she called? It might explain why she was"calmer"
Maybe she doesn’t actually know who pulled the trigger, but why not blame it on mb?
