Michael/ Lauren civil trial update February 9

I’m wondering what is happening with that as well.

Do the legal people following this thread think the extension of various discovery related dates will somehow be extended to JK & KK and responding to the subpoena ?

Or… is it more likely that GAS is drawing a clear line, and making sure to not represent them at all, and they are going to have to find their own attorneys to fight it, or simply comply with the subpoenas at this point?

Also, it looks like GAS intends to move forward with LK’s deposition post haste. That can’t be a pleasant thing for the K’s to look forward to.

I think @smoofox also wins the Interwebz today. This is such a great drawing!

What else do you have to share with us @smoofox???

They will not likely get an extension to respond. There has to be time built in to do the hearings and whatever else that gets done when parties don’t comply. And honestly, if SGF and MB are actively seeking the discovery and JK/KK are actively hindering the process, they will likely get whatever extension they may need for that process to play out in the court with regard to those specific witnesses.

So if JK/KK do nothing between now and the 2/17… they don’t respond to the subpoenas, they don’t hire a lawyer to file anything on their behalf, etc…

What is likely to happen on the 17th?

You trusted everything JK as Inigo Montoya said, also. We all see how well that turned out.

To me, two of the most credible posters are IM and SierraMist. Credible is not the same as infallible.

Of course you can choose who you to consider the most informative and the most credible.

What posters do you find the most credible?

It is the contention of the mob that LKs various misdeeds “caused” his mental breakdown, ”causing” him to shoot her, “causing” the state of NJ to try him tor attempted murder, “causing” him to be incarcerated for 3.5 years and now involuntarily committed to a psychiatric facility and suspended by SS.

The filings in the civil suit assert she failed to mitigate her damages by failing to recognize he was unstable and modifying her behavior. The filings don’t claim she “caused” the insanity.

No, the filings don’t. The psych experts evaluations and testimony presented in the criminal trial did though. I doubt their story will change. And we’ve already seen a jury will find them credible.

Just going to leave these here. Reading the pleadings is so illuminating.

@Inigo-montoya posted the following on COTH

As you can see, @CurrentlyHorseless , he made VERY specific accusations about criminal behavior on the part of @haleybot .

To put a fine point on it, he accused her in writing of both fraud and extortion. He claimed she tried to extort LK.

Is there even an arrest record associated with these allegations?

Previously, you have objected to posts mentioning LKs record, and claimed it’s very important for people to be crystal clear when talking about criminal issues as to whether we are talking about an arrest or a conviction. And the mods supported that. Which is fine.

But why do you hold @Inigo-montoya to a LOWER standard than others, while simultaneously lauding him as a highly “credible” source of information?

Do you think this is a fair post with respect to criminal allegations about @haleybot ?

The claim that LK “caused” his insanity is not offered by his defense lawyers as a defense against her claim that he shot her, so that is not the grounds on which they’ll try to establish that she is in part responsible.

Neither did the psych evaluations in the trial establish or try to establish that she caused his insanity. The psych experts used his reaction to her provocations to demonstrate his state of mind — his insanity. The trial established that he was insane at the time that he shot her, but not what caused his insanity.

In the 48 hours episode Dr. Simring said “she drove him crazy. She gaslighted him and drove him over the edge.”

This has been discussed. Both are creepy and abhorrent.

Quite frankly the why should be obvious to everyone by now.

Seriously VHM…give it a rest. At this point it is best to let them meltdown in peace as they come to the realization that this lawsuit has been sunk for a long time and their lawyer is making the moves to march them down that road asap.

Somebody went online to a different website that lacks responsible moderation of any kind, and actually put a post up that described LexinVa in the EXACT same terms you did. They called Lex creepy and focused on research about people’s childhoods.

Another poster on that website then responded with posts that were full fledged illegal doxxing, in every sense of the word.

So you condone efforts to illegally doxx others, if they are people you consider ‘creepy’ ?
