But, @CurrentlyHorseless, you are wrong once again. Because I doubt any lawyer would have a problem with their paralegal or such being called a legal professional.

3PonyFarm:
They both live there so who has tenancy rights?
I’ve heard things got complicated at Hamster Hill due to reports of a hamster ninja.
OMG Ninja hamster is killing me!

Bathrobe and all!
I’m dead now.

I’d like the opinion of @lazaret, who I understand is a lawyer.
Ask SierraMist
I’d like the opinion of @lazaret, who I understand is a lawyer. I’d like to see if the two pro- Barisone “legal professionals” agree on this.
You can ask Sierra Mist if you’d like, BigMama.
Why would you put the words “legal professionals” in quotes as if they’re alleging to be legal professionals?
If you’re not a lawyer, I think it’s puffery to refer to yourself as a “legal professional” instead of your actual job description such as court clerk or paralegal. Or just to acknowledge you’re not a lawyer.
Is this your way of saying - “darn it, those not lawyer law professionals were right again and even google says they are right, along with the actual lawyer here on the forum”?
No. I think “legal professional” and Sage @Knights_Mom was completely out to lunch to say the civil suit would have any chance of being moved to Florida, and wanted the actual lawyers to comment on it.
I think @ekat wrong in asserting that LK must prove an individual defendant in a case with three defendants is more than 51% responsible in order to collect.
I think it is puffery for someone who has admitted to NOT being a legal professional to argue with the good people of COTH who ARE legal professionals

This sentence could be so fun with so many things put into it.
I think it is puffery to refer to yourself as “the best rider there” instead of your actual description such as “a person who rarely shows up for the lessons”.
I think it is puffery to refer to yourself as someone who “wants to fully cooperate” instead of your actual description of “Someone who ignores the law, refuses to answer a subpoena, and ignores a court order in the civil case your daughter filed and you have been bragging about knowing all the details about”.
I think it is puffery to refer to yourself as “a person who prays for others” instead of your actual description as “a person who refuses to hand over the transcripts of the illegal recordings you bragged about making and sending everywhere”.
I agree with you, @trubandloki. Those are all examples of puffery, along with nonlawyers referring to themselves as “legal professionals”.

I was asked why I put “legal professional” in quotes. I replied. I use the quotes because I think it’s puffery.
And you’ve decided I’m “wrong once again” as to my own reason for using the quotes! LOL

Oh @CurrentlyHorseless, you are doing a great job of being wrong today. I am “quite proud” of your 100% success at that. Is the lawyer up above who just explained this very same thing to you also wrong? Or just @ekat? Because there have been a whole bunch of people who have said the exact same thing on that topic. Complete with drawings.
Just because the movie in your head, which clearly has not even a drop of legal training, does not get it, does not mean it is not true.
Good try to make up the rules though. Very good try. Wrong again.

I have this mental image of @CurrentlyHorseless walking around doing air quotes for some part of every sentence they say.
Disclaimer before anyone pounces on me for it - I have no idea what @CurrentlyHorseless looks like, but I have made up my very own “mental image”.
Yeah, but is it a movie in your head???
In full technicolor.
It is indeed.

No. I think “legal professional” and Sage @Knights_Mom was completely out to lunch to say the civil suit would have any chance of being moved to Florida, and wanted the actual lawyers to comment on it.
Why @CurrentlyHorseless does my saying this bother you so much? Surely there must be a reason.

@CurrentlyHorseless, who other than you has referred to the people you are slamming as “legal professionals”? Did they use that term for themselves?
It seems like you are making fun of them for using a term that only you used.
On the good side, we now can just ignore all things that @hut-ho78 googles and posts about legal stuff, since @CurrentlyHorseless has made it clear that no one but lawyers are allowed to provide any legal input. Hut Google Law Degree is out the window.

Good. Then I never have to explain the Florida court case prediction for Lauren Kanarek.
I’ll just sit here and sniff my feet and play with my toes. Pretty!
To the lawyers, and other legal professionals.
Can we expect any movement before…is it 2/17? I’ve lost track of delays and date changes

LOL. I never said that.
It’s a discussion board and I have no problem with non lawyers joining the discussion.

Then what exactly was the point of your comment regarding “legal professionals” and why did my comment about the case possibly going to FL bother you so very much, hmm?
Then that must mean they’re very accurate. And timely!
