Michael/ Lauren civil trial update February 9

No crumbl in my neighborhood, but I did get my order of Girl Scout cookies from a co-worker and they have a new GF option!

Speaking of eggs…people here are having fits about paying $4 - $6 for a dozen extra large eggs, but have no problem paying the same for a bag of Doretos! Eggs are absolute must haves in my home!

I was always relaxed and had fun at lessons and schooling shows… but when it came to an actual formal dressage show - that was not the case. As I was warming up I always felt extremely nauseous and anxious. I was worried I would barf all over those beautiful braids I had worked so hard on… my head was ringing. But so was that damn little bell, so I would take a big breath and set off to A - enter at working trot.

And then, the miracle always happened.

X - Halt. Salute.

And as I halted, the pounding in my head melted away along with the nausea… and when we proceeded to C at working trot to track left, I was fine and all was well. Even able to laugh when something went wrong! And a certain little blaze-faced horse thought dressage should be a lot more… flamboyant.

Sounds like you earned that Pinot Noir, @evtrmom !! Well done!

Being over 50 I have that feeling of I’m just so glad to be here lol. I’ve done one starter trial but have my sights on so much more this season!
My teen did all the hard work bringing our ottb along, and was very successful with him! Motor cross is now on his mind ( the kiddo) so I took over the ride! The horse is the perfect packer to cart my old butt around

You’re bad! And you don’t follow directions very well. Didn’t I tell you not to tell me?

Hey, just eat the cookies and run a little longer on the hamster wheel tomorrow. Fixed it.

I went to cheat and have a cookie because of you people only to find my husband stoled it. I may have to divorce him now.

Your horse is very handsome and looks like a fun ride. And you look awesome, like you never stopped riding. Thanks for sharing the video!

I’m extremely sorry to say I caved and looked on Google, and it turns out there are two locations that I will drive by twice in the next three days. Very unfortunate turn of events. Lol.

Tangent accepted and carried further.

The neighbors have a fancy bunny (I forget the breed). When we found out what they were paying for his forage, we insisted they raid our little hay shed instead. Their bunny’s hay consumption equals about a 1/2 of a flake a month - basically the equivalent of the stuff that falls on the floor. We refused their offers to pay so now I find a lovely bottle of Riesling on a bale every four weeks or so. A total win!

Oh yeah. I had seen Crumbl ads on TV and now have found the store like 1 1/2 mile from my house. That might be bad….

Wow. What a fantastic arrangement. Win-win all around.

It turns out I was at a store half a mile from a Crumbl earlier today. But it was before they came up on this thread, so I had no idea the place even existed. Who knew?

Resistance is futile. :smirk:

Welcome to the dark side - we have cookies. :stuck_out_tongue:

Much better than rehashing the same things over and over again in endless circles…

Finally caught up again. After reading all of these arguments by CH and HH and SM, I hate to admit it but…I think I might have changed my mind. I think LK might actually have been in the right. Put together all the evidence I found, maybe it will help convince someone else of the truth too.
