In my opinion: That’s because LK still wanted to be teachers pet with MB. They had invested much time, effort and $$ into this Barisone grift and if they could turn MB against MH they wouldn’t have to do it all again with someone else. I’ll also wager that MB was the best in town. And just like IM wrote here, she would train with him again. So this incident was just 3 people acting in concert in furtherance of a plan.

They clearly thought the lawyer would go back to MB and proffer some sort of “arrangement”, whereupon he turns on MHG, to try and pin what happened on her, to say that she goaded him into shooting at the two interlopers.

Thank you all so very much for posting all this wonderful, enlightening information. When I was reading Mr. D’s filing, and I got down to the exhibits, well ummmmm I feared I was going to need a magnifying glass at the very least. lol
I stick with my, upon information and belief…there is a lot that the K’s don’t want to the public to know that makes ALL of them look really really really bad.

… and THIS is what their legal brains trust, the best legal team in the USA that they have on speed dial, came up with? Sending LK and Mommy and Daddy over at a social event to “chat up” MBs lawyer friend with some mad theory about shifting blame from MB and onto MHG, them all feeling sorry for MB?
It’s stark raving bonkers and reeks of desperation, definitely not clever or well thought out. 
No wonder they don’t want to go to court.

I’d say that has already happened with this filing. But of course, it can get worse when Lauren Kanarek’s medical records are laid bare to the courts. It’s not going to start with August 2019, IMO.
Princess Lollypop has cost her family dearly through the decades but they ain’t seen nothing yet.
