This just proves to me that my taste in TV viewing does not match the majority. Volleyball is the last thing I want to watch. I would rather watch almost anything.
One of the things I enjoy about the Olympics is watching the strange sports we do not normally see on TV.
Water Polo? It’s worse than synchronized swimming! Such a stupid “sport” compared to equestrian events. 
I know dressage is not for everyone but if you are going to advertise it please show it.
I think one reason equestrian polled low is because people don’t think that there’s any athletic prowess involved on the part of the human. I worked with a woman who said there was nothing to the equestrian - it was all horse and that the people were simply passengers. This was a bright person, too. Made me realize that lots and lots of folks simply have no idea what’s involved in riding.
My thought has always been that they should show the medal wins for every sport, even if they show a portion. All the athletes deserve their time in the TV spotlight for all the years of work and training.
i know some of the sports are weird or boring but not to the athletes that compete in them. I enjoy watching some of sports that I know nothing about. Trampoline might sound dull but it’s pretty neat to watch the height they get; never thought that occasionally they miss landing on the trampoline!
