Def a member! I have a 10 y/o TB mare. Typical boss TB mare. Nasty thing. Not really but she likes to think she is. And no matter how badly she pins her ears and acts like she is going to eat you - she wont and I still loff her.
Oh INCA! What a cutie! Love the face!
rmj — very, very cute. So nice to see another Houstonian posting on this BB.
Hey, OMom, may I be bonked, too?
I love your mare’s sweet face and had a very special grey once upon a time who had the same look in his eye. He liked to paint walls and toys with his bran mash for later snacking and was known to eat turkey and pickle sandwiches. Sometimes I think he has been reincarnated in one of my ladies - Wintermaske, because she has his sense of humor and discovery.
Here is a pic of the face of one of the many mares that I love. Our COTHer Reg Corkum took it. I love her ears and her expressive big eyes so much.
and the red girl
2Dogs, you got stabled in tent city. Ick, waht a hike to the rings.
I want to add–I want to be BONKED too!!!
However, let’s not confuse that with the boInking thing–I don’t care if that is the brandname for riding gear–in my day ‘boinking’ had nothing to do with getting dressed!!!

And OMGIH I LOFF MY MARE(S)
Cliques!
I love my mare too. Anglo-TK, just found out that from Granddad back on the T’bred side was imported from Ireland, and her TK granddad was Bagatell! Very proud of her, but she is your stero-typical Chestnut mare! When flies land on her rear end while riding she would rather BUCK them off than swish her tail! Very much a prima donna!! but she has nice babies and is the most loving thing on the ground you could ever want!!

Thanks Castlegate! Summer is the one that has a really good imitation of a statue when she gets scared! She is a cutie but boy have we been through some times together!
Angie sure is a beauty. And I LOVE your stalls!!!
Ahhhh, Bugs! I so LOFF your mare. I have such a big soft spot for red horses. There’s something extra special about your girl!
Do I get a Bonk Omom?
Oh I love Mayhem’s mare!!!
Thanks for the bonk!!! I feel better already!
Awesome OMOM! My girls can be seen in my Webshots below (one of the girls is not in there though.
).
Uh O-mom, I think you must have me confused with somebody else. But in any case, I will try to worthy of the honor you bestow upon me
PS I can’t believe how gorgeous everyone’s girls are
I’ve never been a member of a clique - I love my mare, bought her in utero and she’s been my partner for almost 22 years now. Can I join?

And poor Griff the lone gelding in the mix!
My love: Daisy, a tb/qh and my first horse. Here she is yesterday, getting some well-deserved break time in the ring after a very nice bareback trail ride.

Oh please, count me in!!! I LOFF my mare. Her name is Qui Va La (“Who Goes There”) because she’s Miss. Curiosity and always wants to be around me. She’s my very first horse too, so she is even that much more special to me. She’s a 15.2 Appendix, chestnut, with a flaxen mane and chestnut tail, white blaze, one white stocking, and one white sock. She loffs it when I kiss her muzzle and blow into her nostrils. She also loffs having her hips scratched. We are quite a pair, LOL.
I don’t know what I’d do without her. Time flies when I’m with her. She just turned 3, so we have a lifetime of memories ahead of us!!
Mares rock!!

I have a saintly mare who rocks my socks - she’s A Wink & A Nod in my signature, and she for whom I’ve quoted Shakespeare. She’s my Kately girl - and she gets quite annoyed when I don’t stop at the barn first when I come home for breaks. I think she knows the barn is on the way home - so if I’m not out there, feeding her raisins every day of my visits? I’m in serious trouble.
So far, she’s given me one fantastic little copy of herself (Edward!) - now, I’m trying to make a deal with her for another copy, in filly form. She had quite the illustrious career in the past, but now she’s just a big pet - who loves to go on wild gallops through the woods whenever I’m home. We do our own version of that galloping scene from Seabiscuit - including me clinging to her neck going, “Whoooo! Whoooo hoooo!!”
She’s my girlie! And, I think our “anniversary” is this week - seven years together!
Almost forgot - the most telling thing about the Wonderfulness of Kate: She’s 19 years old. She’s had, basically, three owners including me (one woman owned her for a little less than a year). Both of those past owners have contacted me - we all stay in touch now. They’re both BN Pros in their own fields, but they adore Kate and want weekly updates on her. She’s still, nearly 20 years later, a favorite to them as well. She’s just that kind of horse - everyone who meets her, loves her - and there’s plenty of reason to!
Never mind - figured it out
