My shoes smell like pee

All my barn clothes, including sneakers, go into the wash with Soylent Green, I mean, SIMPLE GREEN, a household cleaner which cuts through grease like nobody, I mean NOBODY’s business - always used it on my SO’s clothes coming home from the garage, nothing got those clean, but Simple Green did. Turns out, it gets really bad dirt all around out - I buy a gallon jug at Home dePot. Add a cup or two to each load, including sneakers.

I was all excited someone else had a smelly shoe problem when i realized this thread is two years old. And started by me.

NO!

I got snagged into this, and its the OPs fault!! Man, I keep telling myself to look at the dates. I just don’t know how the old threads pop up for them to get reposted on!

Glad you have good boots, OP.

I reposted asking about this issue with my Dublins! LOL! That’s why it got popped back up. I even recognized the old thread in my title  See post #34

This thread is making me chuckle:lol:
Sweet PDZ:lol:Guess you could just stick the shoes in the bag until you need to wear them again!
I too have a pair of those pink with grey checks muckshoes. Found them on clearance at my local Work Sports and More store. Thought they were the ugliest things on earth but when I put them on they are rather cute. I have the ugly purple pair on standby when the pink ones wear out.
My stalls aren’t fully bedded, just the corner where they pee (mares) and they have in and out privileges in the barn, so I don’t have alot to clean up.
I never wear sneakers to the barn anymore. It’s either the rubber muck shoes or
*ahem, ([SUB]flip flops[/SUB]).
Will check back in another two years for more tips!

Facebook claims tea bags work…don’t trust that will work though…
I just wear my stinky shoes with pride!

Just get a pair of garden shoes…like these by Muck Boot.
