Me too! Not on this board but IIRC it might have been linked from here.
LOL that’s the picture that accompanied mine:

I have seen worse on the track. LOL
My husband named one too! He had a patient that had a yearling in KY. That patient organized a visit when we were in KY to see DH’s family.
When we got home, patient asked DH what he thought she should be named. DH told him, he submitted it and the JC accepted it.
Patient no longer owns the horse and she only raced maybe twice.
Ha! I got Solar Heart. I’d never name ANYTHING that! If I was naming horses, I tend to go with names that come out of song lyrics I like and/or describe the horse’s personality. I tend to keep their JC names with a barn name and IF I was to show, I’d use one or the other. That said, my one OTTB is Resiliency, which fits him perfectly. His barn name is Bounce—which perfectly describes what he does when playing and cantering . You literally feel like you’re on a round ball and he can elevate! I’ve always wanted to name a horse Holy Rollin’ (song lyric name).
Yep, that’s him but more like 4-5 feet in the air!
I originally got Dragon Fight as a Friesian. Uh uh, nope. Second try gave me an App named Sword Heart. Much better. I’m the person who can always name a friend’s new horse, but takes me forever to name my own. I love naming, but was actually kind of relieved my current horse came with a name I already loved.
Well I got Castle Winner who is a nice bay with a pretty head.
And IT IS AVAILABLE
I will tell hubby…
mine would be Saysayonara
Castle Logic and Fierce Boss.
The second name reminds me of a former office manager/supervisor who was the most micromanaging person (and always looking for ‘breaking the rules of the office’) I’ve ever met. Like, if you didn’t turn around in your seat/cubicle to greet someone who came in the door within X number of seconds, you were in trouble. And she would sneak out a side door to come through the front door to “test” us.
But Castle Logic—I could see that working for me.
Laser Player and Magic Winner
