Need ideas for a hunter stallion that throws height and amateur friendly foals?

Probably Diardo. We have one solid black, drop dead gorgeous. Wins best turned out frequently, including at indoors last year one day. Not a good mover, but brave brave brave and a solid to gorgeous jump when challenged (3’6 gets best results). Willing to do whatever, will pop chip a big oxer safely, also took him to three medal finals, jumping all that weird stuff as if he’d done it his whole life.

Diarado does not reliably add height though. It’s well recognized in Europe that if you breed him to a small mare you could end up with a “pony.”

Good to know, missed the height part, pretty short over here!

I have bred to Checkmate twice (two different TB mares). Both offspring are tall and leggy. Good movers and jumpers. Both chestnut. Very curious/mischievous personalities. Not the best hind legs (mine are both a little straight). One is under saddle and the other is only two. The older one is very quiet/lazy. I’m an amateur and I’ve done everything myself with him. Very brave over fences.
