Another Hawk enthusiast - I have a 2006 Hawk 2 horse GN that I tow with my 2004 Nissan Titan - usually I just haul one 1200 lb horse but I’ve had no problems at all hauling two with that truck. It’s been an extremely reliable tow vehicle for this particular towing situation.
Hawk trailers are really, really nice. SonnysMom is correct - a fellow named Tom Winter used to work for Trail-et and realized that an even better trailer could be built and now builds Hawk Trailers. I cannot remember if he started the company or not or if he still works there, but I can vouch for his integrity and knowledge of horse trailers. If I ever needed to buy another trailer, it would be another Hawk.

I have a 2 horse Hawk bumper pull dressing room trailer that I currently haul with a 2013 5.7L Toyota Tundra. I LOVE the truck and trailer combination. I’ve owned Merhow and Circle J trailers in the past but the Hawk trailer is by far my favorite. And the Tundra hauls the trailer like a dream, even when loaded with two large horses. I’ve also towed Eclipse and Bison 2H BP trailers with the Tundra and was just as pleased with the towing performance.
