That won’t come into play, because Murphy’s Law of Dressage Showing dictates that, whenever it’s a rider’s very first time in the ring, the judge will sound the bell EXACTLY when you are crossing parallel to the opening at A.

This program will get your head in the right place so that you can ride at a show like you do at home.

I just want to second the suggestion to go to the venue ahead of time to see it. I found it helped me visualize the process of parking, tacking up, warming up, and how far from warm up to ring, etc.

Everybody was a beginner once. And plenty of us were ‘re-riders’ who remember it was so much easier when we were kids…
