Being in unfamiliar surroundings she might lack enough confidence to call attention to herself by drawing attention to herself. If she’s crate trained that would help. When I was showing I never had a problem, always asked for a room in the quietist part of the hotel. Breed are guard dogs and we snuck into a lot of hotels without any being the wiser.
maybe your dog will surprise you and be as good as gold. Your other well travelled dog will probably be a good example of the preferred behaviour.
EquestrianRunner:[h=2]YAY!!! Keep us posted and take beach pics??? :)[/h]
We did make it to the beach today! If anyone is ever in the Tampa/St Pete area, I HIGHLY recommend the Fort de Soto Park dog beach! It is a proper beach (sand isn’t as fine as other places, but not bad), HUGE, and totally dog friendly. I’m sure it is a zoo on weekends, and it was still busy on a Wednesday, but not bad. Way better than the Davis Beach dog park we went to last year (my mom wasn’t sure she even wanted to go today since Davis was so anticlimactic, but ended up loving it and may continue to take her dog by herself).
Here are the 3 girls enjoying their outing. https://instagram.com/p/BQQ4UsVD6z2/ The black ones are mine. The little yellow one is my mom’s dog, Daisy. If you go to my profile, you’ll see more pics and a video.
Too awesome!!! Very jealous! Have fun!!!
