To go way back to when High Hearts was Raja’s Rita it was Talya Hord (who I believe was riding with Debbie Supick when Rita was sold) then I know Liza Towell was riding her for a while and the Lindners.

Are you at Quiet Hill?

Yes, the same horse, apparently.
We had some classic showdowns between Rule the Blues and Watership Down. One at Ox Ridge will not be forgotten. Unfortunately for Nancy and the whole RTB gang, he was awful at indoors. It was too bad, because he won so much all year, and then fell apart every year at indoors.

High Hearts- Peekaboo! So funny that you know Talya Hord first had her! The Hords are very good family friends (not from horses though)! They sold her for peanuts to some girl whose name escapes me who rode with Jack, and Liza catch rode it. Good spotting on Jack Towell’s part, sucked for the Hords!

rockstar- know Talya had Rita because back in the day when Talya had Rita we rode with the same trainer before Talya moved to Debbie’s. I remember riding Rita a few times, she was actually the first horse I rode when I was still just a pony kid. Talya also is a Bryn Mawr girl, and is best friends with my neighbor accross the street. (who’s younger sister you may know of, Tori Fingles, RPCS class of '95). So I have known Talya for quite a while. And my dad is an architecht and knows Ed Hord. How do you all know the Hords? I actually looked at Talya’s horse she got after Rita, Khyber Moon, but he was a little too big for me. Have you met Talya’s puppy? He is so incredibly cute, although I haven’t seen him for a while and I’m sure he is huge now!!

Maybe it is the same - wonderful jumper! Just realized, brain dead that I am, that I posted on the junior thread not the A-O thread. I feel a little better but also a whole lot dumber
Tindle was definitely Allison Firestone. Has anyone said Bridget Hallman for Clyde Barrow yet? Laura Hines had (or has?) April Magic, too. Just My Bill was Lenah Ueltzen’s. Northern Rollick belonged to Peter Wetherill for a while and was ridden by Elizabeth Solter in the pro divisions. Betcha By Golly was Lauren Bass’. Harbor Bay went forever, first with Kim Lloyd and then with Christina Serio.
San Souci - Katie Huber
I saw Maestro at OSF last spring, still owned by Megan McGrath, not sure if he’s still there though. I supposed someonw who boards at OSF can answer that.
Legend Has It- Erin (or was it vanessa?) Haas

Nice on getting the answer for Sarah’s horses! One of the younger girls I rode with bought Boca the year after Sarah finished with him. Boy, was he a stinker in the barn!
OK, here’s an even older Canadian one: Noseprint.

I tried Noseprint before I bought Blue Grass!
Hey Jenny O’Neil. I certainly do remember you and your hubby! You’ve been doing great this year!
Hey,
Let’s not forget Canadian Club and Vogue.

Anyone know the name of Kerri Kampsen’s first junior hunter? He was a really fancy small nicknamed “Spot”. She sold him half way through the summer in 1994 or 1995. I can’t remember his show name but I think it had the work “One” in it.
Anyone want to be brave and try to name ALL of Marley, Allison, Nikki S. or Havens’ junior hunters. Good luck!

When did Keri have Going Places? She also had something with “Sun” in the name…maybe?
Marley- Nevertheless, Whiskey Before Breakfast, Pappy Clifford…why can’t I think of any more?
Alison- Bremen, Tindle, Whadayasay!, Lestat, Two of Hearts.
I am so swamped at work and haven’t even been to the bathroom since 6 AM but I keep posting on these threads!
kdwelden- what is your email address?
I don’t know if his names been mentioned but what about Aroan Again?

Spindrifter-Emily Epstein…I knew Spindrifter way back when. A dear friend of mine rode her when we were juniors.
I too knew High Hearts when she was Raja’s Rita. No one in my family believes me when I tell them we used to know High Hearts.
