I’m hearing that 1-4 are legal. 5 is under review, but likely to end up legal. 6 is illegal.

Baucher’s rotate forward towards incisors, other simple snaffles (dees, loose rings, full cheeks) rotate backwards towards molars when reins are taken up. It’s a very different action hence why some horses will prefer that.

I see absolutely no difference between the way the bits move in your examples.

If you compare the second photos in each example, you can see that the bit is sitting farther toward the front of the mouth with the Baucher.

Is using a full cheek bit with keepers (as it should be) still allowed? Because by fixing the top of the cheek to the cheekpiece, it’s working like a Boucher.

Yes full cheeks are allowed as long as you mouth piece is allowed.
