Are signatures not possible on the new forum?
I just went poking around on the discourse meta, and they’re pretty anti signatures, so they are probably gone.
But! This platform has a thing called user cards, and those are customizable. It’s what you see when you click on a user’s avatar. You can add a background image, and some fields show up there–like the website I see on yours, location and about me.
Play around with that, and see what you think? 
I added some stuff, including a picture, to mine, so you can see what it’s like!

I was going to post what @simkie said about playing around with your user card for now, but I did also find that they created a plug-in for signatures as well.
If there was a strong community push for them after we get used to things around here, I can ask about it. From what I can tell, the plug-in still allows users to opt whether or not they want to see other people’s signatures and we can limit it to just text signatures, so they’re not too busy.
But for now, check out the options for your user card.

I remember the signatures disappeared on the last forum upgrade and there was a bit of a revolt. lol I’ll be the first to say I would love to see the signature plug-in included on the new forum.

I probably sound like the vocal minority at this point replying to all the threads… but I also would like to see signatures returned. I was here the last signature removal and remember it was exactly as Daventry described
