thank you for the encouragement!! Oh yes, I should have mentioned that the scoot boots are only for riding. Turnout (which is 24/7 in a big pasture unless inclement weather, then he is in at night) no boots. I use keratex hoof hardener, have added durasole to my regime and he’s been on California Trace since 2020. I suspect you are right, they need to be better balanced. His heels look underrun.
